Funding opportunities for local Youth and Community Programs
APPLICATION DEADLINE - Monday, November 15, 2021
The Rotary Club of Ashland Lithia Springs is now accepting applications for its 2021 Youth Program grants to fund various youth-related activities throughout the Rogue Valley with emphasis on the Ashland/Talent area. In addition, the club is accepting applications for its 2021 Community Program grants to support local community projects in Ashland and Talent which address basic needs and self-sufficiency issues.
Youth Program grants of up to $2,500 each will be awarded to qualified area non-profit organizations, schools, or government agencies for programs that actively engage and benefit youth up to 18 years of age in the Rogue Valley. Prior awards have supported a variety of youth projects addressing literacy, food scarcity, arts and music education, and other extracurricular activities.
Community Program grants of up to $1,000 each will be awarded to qualified organizations working to address economic and community development, create employment opportunities, reduce poverty, improve health care, and provide hunger relief. This is the third year these grants have been offered by the club and reflect Rotary’s focus on tackling the most critical humanitarian challenges at home and abroad. Full press release
